Souvenir
My idea for the souvenir is to make pet toys in 2 different shapes; one shape is in beer bottle shape as there were a lot of fags, vapes, and use of alcahol. 2nd shape is hair dryer to represent salons in Chatham. The idea behind this concept was that i wanted to make use of ropery that is at the Dockyard and I didn’t want pet toys in a literal shape; instead, I wanted them to represent the famous elements of Chatham.
The Device
The idea for my device was to collect Textures from the wall.
First I got a wooden box to store my data in it. I got 7 wooden coasters and I used siligum to get the textures from the wall as it takes impression of the print in 5 minutes.
